This property was developed by a color-blind lumber magnate, who therefore focused more on trees than flowers. It's beautifully looked after, and a different experience in every season.

I was fortunate to see this eagle quite close up, hunting at low tide just five minutes walk from our house.
Northern Lights
We dont' see the northern lights so often on Bainbridge because of cloud cover, but on this occasion, with the help of my iPhone and some image processing, the results were somewhat decent. The photos in at least this case look better than the view to the naked eye.
